How to set up a rate existing ideas activity in the Qualzy Platform.

NOTE: For Pay-As-You-Go projects, the Rate Existing Ideas activity is only available as part of the ideation project type. Click here to learn how to open ideation projects.

There are three types of ideation activity. This article explores how to set up a Rate Existing Ideas activity. To learn how to set up the other types visit these pages:

The Rate Existing Ideas activity allows you to add in existing ideas about a product or service for your participants to vote on.

To set up a Rate Existing Ideas activity, follow these steps:

1.  Select 'Rate Existing Ideas' from the list of activities that appear after you have selected 'add new activity' in the activity edit screen.

2. Give your activity a title, and an optional quick sell. A quick sell can be used to give a little bit of information about the activity, or to let a participant know they have a certain amount of time to complete it.

3. Add in your ideas, giving a title and a description - optionally adding images or videos. You can add as many ideas as you like.

4. Use the Idea Rating Stage instruction builder, to enter in the activity information and instructions to the participants so they understand what they're supposed to be doing.

5. You can then set up whether ideas can be rated with upvotes only or upvotes and downvotes, before pressing the green "create" button.
